Hmm... you can clear out an EEC in seconds...any EEC. Will take ya
longer to disconnect the battery than it does to actually clear the EEC
and reset it it back to 'zero'.
They start adapting again as soon as they hit Closed Loop which on the
newest ones is ~20 seconds after a cold start on an FTP cycle.
The "20 cold start" thing with a drive cycle is to ensure a fully
matured KAM (or adaptive table) in which case it wouldn't need updating
anymore unless something else changes.
