Read the charters for DIT_EFI and GMECM.  They get abused, but
definitely they were founded to serve a specific purpose.  DIY_EFI is
in digest mode because the volume of the posts increased while the
topics strayed from the charter.  Please work to prevent a recurrence
with GM_ECM.
