If you reread the formula in the post, it's talking about oil pump
pressure - that's 10 psi per 1000. So, at 7200 the oil pressure will be on
the downturn (won't be seeing 72 psi), but that's not saying 6890 is
necessarily the grenade limit of the motor by far... Grenade limit is
proportional to money spent... Want 9500 RPM? Shell out some big bucks, and
you'll see it with a small block V8... (nascar?)

But like Bruce said, it's prolly a imaginary whasicalit...;)
