OK, that's what I thot. We use the MSD coil joiners when we "dual" a
dizzy for XA. I was just wondering if anyone had gone to the
additional trouble of backing up the FI portion.

But alike XA, we figure time's wasted if you increase the reliability
of one thing way above some other critical element. In our case, it's
the pilot, so our ruleOthumb is, don't waste effort increasing the
reliability way past the "number of nines" (as in 0.999... would be
"three nines") of the pilot. Cuz all that means is you're working on
improving the wrong part, reliability-wise. Wasted angst.

It may very well be, as Bruce alluded to, that the ecm failures are so
infrequent that far and away larger exposures to failure are in such
things as tires and pilot, for example (I'm thinkin of road-racing
again).
