SBC intake center bolt holes

Well, my experiences haven't been as high tech as your suggestions.
I've cut angled spacers on a band saw, hogged the intake holes, and
installed an older manifold on newer heads. Looked horrible, but it
worked. I've also ground the snot out of a tbi manifold and installed
it on older heads. Looked horrible, but it worked. Total cost? Less
than pennies, since the air, electricity, and aluminum tubing were
already on hand.
