MAF Relocation

The translator is the gmecm related item. The relocated MAF is about
optimizing the hardware end of that. I have some other pieces coming for a
second version, and a 3.5 install. The most major of items is that the late
MAF is self temp compensating, so the more accurate it sees the actual
injested airflow temp. the more acurrate the reading, the more accurate the
fuel/timing calculations. With the MAF like this, it comps., for ambient
air, heating from being in boost, Intercooler heat saturation, etc..

Might note the relocated "MAT", and yes the extra wiring is a Turbo Link
Boost Sensor. At the moment both are now for datalogging different
elements of what's going on. Hope to do some comparisons for 3 and the 3.5,
with the 3 post and pre turbo, and then post 3.5 to pre 3.0, just gather
more info..
Course when you really think about it there are other engine management
options, when you relocate the MAF this way. Brought to you by the research
