Correct, two different mask 32's - the first for 86 only, the second
version for 87-88.

That's mask 6E.  There are two versions of 6E also: the original, and an
update.  In at least some applications, a mask 6Eb replaces a 6Ea chip.

In all of masks 32a, 32b, 6Ea, and 6Eb, each version is used for both
5.0's and 5.7's, as well as automatics and manuals - and the various permuations.
