DIS for GMECM

CNP, Coil Near Plug. this is the motor that has 1 coil on the top of each
valve cover right on top of each plug.  I think that this is LS1 & Z06
technology, if i am not mistaken.  i just saw 3 of the Z06's @ the track,
you would think i would pay attn.  there is one short wire going from each
coil to each plug.  this as opposed to the DIS, i always thought
Distributor Less Ignition, but not a big deal, that has one coil per two
plugs.  this is AKA, wasted spark, as one plug on the coil is on the
compression stroke the other one on the same coil is on the exh stroke. 
both plugs fire @ the same time.
