    Might Include Daimler Chrysler , FOMOCO and a host of Other OEMs , 
while you're at it.
    Associations such as APA and SEMA have lobbied unsuccessfully for 
decades for release
    of this information to the aftermarket. Combining forces with other 
heavy hitters would seem
    a prudent strategy. Hell may freeze over until the information is in 
the public domain.
