Injector Sizes All the Same?

I've noticed that my 3.1L TBI injectors have an allen socket screw staked in 
place on top of each injector. My 5.7L injectors have the same screw but 
appear to be backed out a few more turns before staking. Is it possible that 
all injectors are the same and that these screws calibrate the injectors for 
different flow rates? I don't want to unstake it and destroy the injector if 
any list members know the answer.
