Bruce,
From what I have seen in the 94 to 97 Flash PCM's, GM uses
FF fillers in the unmapped portion of their flash, but all
unused area's of the table space is 00 filled. These
unmapped portions are actually flash address segments that
are mapped to IO or Ram space, and can never be accessed by
the CPU.
