That's what I was talking about, especially in reference to the MAP sensor,
and responsiveness.

For a vacuum source, to open the EGR valve yes.  If you mean for the exhaust
flow, No.  A late EGR system at low throttle openings can supply up to 12%
of the Intake Air Volume.
