I don't claim to be an expert, but if you used 4 waste spark coils, wouldn't it allow you to do a full DIS on a V8? Does the L4 DIS setup have 4 individual coils? The 93 3.4 V6 Camaro used 3 waste spark coils to run 6 cylinders.
