Message formatting

Hi Guys,

I know I'm new here and maybe few others care, but I'm still using pine
for email (a text-only, non-html-friendly reader) so when a message comes
through the list as html it's a real pain to decipher.  Other lists I'm on
try to encourage everyone to turn off all text formatting - what's the
concensus here?  If nothing else it keeps the size of the archives down
:-).  Also, I've about completed my .ecu file for the 7148 and thought I'd
upload it to the incoming area if that's okay.  It's not comprehensive but
has 50kB worth of what I want to tune :-).  Should it be plain text or
zipped, and should there also be a .txt readme file or is a .ecu
self-explanatory?  If I do a more complete vesion later can I replace the
earlier one?
