head gaskets

This sound primitive.
I have a 2" wide 24" long file.
If a head fails the flatness with a straight edge I use the file.
Sometimes is just almost accidential they fail the straight edge test.
Other then the OHC stuff I've fudged things without dire results, on my own
stuff.
