Downshifting, and feathering back into like in road racing, ya briefly, but
why look to detonate the motor at all?.
Spirited driving by Tahoe, I can see that as a working rpm in 4th, as in
70ish in 4th threw some twisties.
Actually 2800 rpm, and while in your specific case with a 12 Spd <g> tranny
not everyone has the open to cruise at idle.
This is getting to be in tuning 101, with the exception rather then the
general.
If you wanna endorse running timing that high as a general concept for a
SBC, OK, just I don't see the point, and not worth the risk IMO. Like the
other thread where we wound up talking about a disposabile engine.

Again gettting to one specific example.

Swing by, and I'll tell ya.

Well your right back where I suggested aren't you...

Can you refer me to where I said it didn't?...
It still would be interesting to look at the setting on an export with an
different AFR to see if anything is changed to go along with that.

At the time of that article I tried finding I think it was Jim Wolfe that
was credited with that chip. I'd be really interested in how he did that
other then as a one time 40m only deal.
