There are 2 kinds of dremel cutoff wheels -- really thin ("wafer thin"?)
red ones and thicker ones that look like they're made of fiberglass or
something.  Don't use the thin ones without eye protection, if they get
hung up at all they'll break apart and that's bad news at 25k rpm.  The
thicker ones use a different mandrel, don't wear as fast, and I've never
had one break.  I don't use the thin ones anymore.
