I run a 180 Robert Shaw in my BBC stuff, with a 1/8" hole drilled thru.  The
hole was mainly to help me burp "baby" when refilling the coolant system.
I compromised on this slight drop because I've got a lot of thermal mass and
cast heads to deal with.
