Subject: Holley 502-1 tbi system
Hi, I need some help. I have a stock 350 chevy engine in my '72 jaguar xj6.
I need to increase my mileage.
I would like to install a tbi system, I think that it's less work than a
tpi
system. I have to run a new fuel line, etc
I saw this recently for sale, it a holley 502, I guess that it's an old
system, it might be better than my rochester quadrajet. I have an edelbrock
performer on the engine.
a related question is about camshafts and o2 sensors.
I am having a custom ground crower cam put in, to get rid of the hot rod
cam
put in by the previous owner. with respect to tbi, are there 'tbi designed
camshafts' ?
also I have dual exhausts but no crossover pipe. I have read where
crossover
pipes can't just be welded in anywhere. however I am unsure as to where to
put the O2 sensor, on which side, I would think that it would make a
difference.
anyway, thanks, have a nice day, Diane
