Jet Performance scam?

To their credit (possibly?) S*PERCHIPS actually develops and runs their
product on a DYNO(?). thats what thwir website said. I got to talk with them
a few times trying to get a chip for my GP alot of years ago and they said
bring the car to FLA and they can "try". Anyone had experience with this cal
maker's product? I beleive it is "secured" behind a translator or
something - pretty cool.
