I sent this to Peter Gargano. Any info from someone using his software
on an ECM outputting TTL levels is greatly appreciated :O)

Hey Peter, I was trying to read the data stream off the Corvette with
the adapter I made for the CLCC Buick (12V PWM). I used the data in on
the RS-232 like in the secondary diagram. First trying to use the same
timing option that I used with the Buick, I saw 5 or so rows fill up
with data - say at a rate of just a bit over 2 columns/sec. - Now, I
tried adjusting that rate, and basically I have not much luck, either I
get more or less columns, but nothing over 5-6 or so. Also, I notice
the last row that is getting filled is data that is always changing
values - the others stay at 0 I believe, or something fairly constant.
Any suggestions? Think this is a software or a hardware issue? The ECM

is outputting TTL logic in this case. I should scope the output going
into the RS-232. This weekend comming up, should I log some information

with a terminal maybe? Has anyone tried the adapter and software with
ECM's that output TTL?

Louis
