Nope, didn't miss it at all. But since that change involves both major
changes in EGT *and* pressure at the same time, that's just all you
learned..."things changed a bit". But we still don't know if it was the
pressure or temp (or a combo of both) that caused the change. All I was
saying is, lets have discussion on it and maybe others like John have
something to contribute to the subject.

Yes, Bruce, I know that the sensors bleed to outside air. And no I don't
need to saw one in two; I've seen drawings and discussion of how they are
made. Yes, I understand there's a potential issue with the effect of
backpressure. What I was after was *quantifying* it. That's what I asked
for; I wasn't claiming *no effect* by asking you if you "had any data
that quantified EGT & backpressure's effect on o2 sensors". I was simply
asking if there was any data that showed what the relationship was for
each of these parameters.

Here, I'll ask it again; does anyone have any data or references that
show the effect of EGT or backpressure on o2 sensors, either NB or WB?
Actually, there has already been some info posted for a Bosch sensor that
showed the sensitivity to EGT, and that showed there *wasn't* any change
in the stoich point, but I don't recall anything on backpressure ever
being posted. That's what I was trying to learn about.

As far as "not knowing this and making inaccurate statements", all I can
say is, umm, wow. Hope you get your meds straightened out. Meanwhile, you
might want to return to signing your posts with "Grumpy", like you used
to. (See, I *have* read the archives :).

Cheerio,
Brian
