The difference is a few pins & what the outputs are. As the 7730 & 7749 are
essentially the same ECM I am planning on using my 7730 & running the Sy
code in it. when I do that some of the pinouts change & some disappear.
Here are the differences. I posted a more in depth description about this in
on the DIY Prom Board on the 3rd gen Camaro site. (www.thirdgen.org) do a
search & you will find most of what you are looking for. btw, I got this
info from Ludis site (http://www.cruzers.com/~ludis/), more about ECM's than
you will EVER want to know, a fantastic resource, imo.

What exactly is the difference in the 730 --> 749 conversion. Does anybody
have a pinout of the 749?
I have an 87z28 that I converted from 165-->730 a few months ago, a turbo
charger would be awsome but not in the near to distant future. What would
need to be changed?
Just the pins on the ecm plugs? Any new wires need ran?
Just wondering if I should do the change over and then tune the Sy ecm for
my NA motor until the time comes?
