I have to agree with most everything this site says about Saturn.
Saturn and GM DID have the best thing going, 10 years ago, but the lack of product
development and constant suppression of the Saturn team killed the whole thing.

Like all cults, mass suicide, is usual the thing that keeps them from thriving.
Over the last 6 years GM has basically killed the Saturn Cult and all that is
left is just another POS GM car and just another POS GM company.

When I first read the write up" Snatching Defeat From The Jaws Of Victory: The
Sad Saga Of Saturn." I wanted to kick this guy's butt, but soon I realized that
what he was saying about the whole thing it true. Yes, I bought into the whole
"gaft" like everyone else. Hell, I have 10 Saturn's in my direct family! I wrote
a damn 100 page Business Ethics paper about the company for college that included
first hand quotes from Skip Le Fauve and I even worked for a Retailer for 2
years. Between the 5 Saturn specific web sites I have hosted through the years
and the 1000+ cars I can take credit for selling, I should be elected a Saturn
cult leader. I digress...

GM can only do one thing right and that's involved enough bureaucrats to destroy
anything the people want. GM is nothing more than a dicktatorship pretending
to be a commercial business.
Now people like me have to fight off the Legal attack of GM because of the things
we do to promote THEIR products. 
Do you know how stupid it is to be sued for brand delusion when all you are
doing is promoting a product? Shoot your own foot while you are at it.

Now GM's offering one compact engine (L61) and one compact platform (Delta).
Saturn can't even figure out how to make the damn engines well enough to last
over 45,000 miles. How will an old school GM factory get it done?

Unless a lot of people step up and start pressuring GM, they are just going
to continue on the path of self-destruction and be nothing more than a failed
company in 10-15 years.

GM <bla>ed up Saturn, not the Saturn people, engineers, customers, or original
