Pop off valve

I haven't delved too far into it, but my girlfriends car is a '87 300ZX
turbo and the POV is not ECM controlled. As far as I remember, it's
basically a spring loaded valve that depending on the spring and how much
it's torqued down controls the pressure and rate of opening. Her stock one
is factory fixed, but I have seen tech write-ups somewhere showing how to
make it adjustable.
