Need recommendations on tools.

Craftsman use to be my favorate.  I've got a lot of them, last few times
I've bought their stuff, they really turned out to be junk.  About 1/2 of
my flat blade screw drivers are broken.  Sure, I could trade them in for
new brittle ones, but have not had the time.

P.S. Anyone else's wife put pink nail polish on her tools in an effort to
keep you from using them?  Her toolbox has been modified to say:
