Explains things in my book.

If I am to error or guess, I tend to go for a tad too large of cam.  You can
at least  work with that,  restricitn air flow, or slightly restrictive
exhaust.  Thou generally the ports ten to equalize things if just a shade
too much.

When your cam limited, there is nothing you can do.  Generally you can go
only so loud with exhaust, good heads just make it worse, and any long tract
modes, just make that soggier.

This is kinda a personal thing, and I'm sure others have their opinions, but
datz what works for me.

Then the 305 has it's own problems, specially if running the 2.02/1.6 set
up.  You wind up with the intake really schrouded by the cylinder wall.
