Right.

I have no clutch switch connected to my 7747. Other swaps I've done have been
similar.

Only E connects to A8 from the factory. Other than that, everything is correct.

LED will work. I wouldn't worry about the shift light. It won't cause a
problem to leave it disconnected.

You will need a vent of some type. I'm using a vented cap. But I will connect
the purge system eventually.
