Flashing a 8051

Will scanner programs work?  Freescan, pcmcomm?

Assuming you're using the max232 converter, the simpler two transistor one 
worked only sometimes (not on the old beat caprice, fine on the younger camaro)

I also had trouble when wiring too long a permanent cable between aldl & 
converter

Maybe wait longer after key on, or try rerunning the read program without 
key off/on just leaving key on.

I never tried running it from a floppy, the .dt4 files would probably need 
to be there too.
