Metric/US horsepower?

 First nail down "horsepower."  I know of at least a dozen substantially
different types.  SAE?  DIN?  JIS?  RAC?  AAC?  "Taxable"?  Indicated?
Brake?  Net?  and so forth.  And that's not even including "advertised",
which basically means "I made it up."
