A testimonial on the previously mentioned VSS box...

Jeremy-

I can't post to the list from work, so I'm sending to you directly. You
may want to post this if you find it useful.

I recently swapped a T-56 transmission with 40Kpulse/mile VSS into my old
'82 Camaro and used the Dakota box to get VSS input to the '165 ECM.
Really great box.

It provides 5 outputs of varying translation. I feed mine the 40K input,
and take 2K output from the box to my ECM. One of the remaining 4 outputs
is 4K, and the other three I haven't investigated yet.

The connections at the box are screw-clamp type, no crimping or soldering
required. You can also find the instruction manual on their website for
more detail.
