The EGR valve and temp diag switch are new within 2 years (and vacuum
lines). The vac solenoid is new within a year. That's what solved this
problem before. Any connection bewteen the higher engine temps and this
thing suddenly setting code 32? >>

Hey Steve,
According to the book "How to Tune and Modify Chevy Fuel Injection" by Ben
Watson, it says:

"Code 32 relates to a perceived failure of the EGR system to function. On a
5.7 TPI Code 32 means that the temperature of the sensor in the EGR tube has
not increased, therefore the ECM does not know if the EGR valve opened when
it was commanded to."

If you need some info on how to diagnose the problem, I can scan the relevant
pages for you if it'll help.
