165 MAF computer

Come now, don't be TOO cruel. I only deserve some bad mouthing. :-) This
car also has the 3.27 posi with a fresh 700R4. Before I couldn't do drag
runs cause 2-3 was gone past 1/2 throttle. Now, I almost wish I DIDN'T have
2-3. Got some work to do.

Have tried Craig's ALDL stuff and, like Diacom in ALDL mode, it doesn't work
on my car. I get about 3 valid frames out of 1000. I can see the TPS
voltage going up and down (when I get a valid frame) with the engine not
running of course. The car has a wiring/noise issue on the ALDL lines, just
haven't tracked it down yet.

You mean you've got a '165 TPI and you're not using Craig Moates' free
monitoring program with built in 1/4 mile calculator!?!?

Shame!

But now you've got me not feeling so bad.... My 83 Fullsize GMC 2wd with
TH400
and 3.08 rear with a stock 100K+ 305 TPI with manifolds and free flowing
dual
exhaust (running ARAP) is turning around 17 seconds (don't remember the
speed).... Now you've given me a reason to go out and make another run :)
