Torque converter problems?

First off, make sure his TV cable is adjusted properly. If "cruise"
pressures are low, the converter
can develop a shudder when it locks up. Another fix is a product called
"LubeGuard" or "SmartBlend" transmission additive. This is available from
most transmission rebuilders. If neither work--you've got internal problems
in the transmission--either a bad converter, or an internal pressure
leakage...
