The new Vortec series engines that are port fuel injected use an injector 
with a tube that leads to a poppet valve. These poppets, like a diesal, get 
stuck. The injector can be heard clicking when tested, but a fuel pressure 
drop test will show no fuel was delivered. Get some Techtron~ from Chevron or 
some 12345104 fuel additive for your truck. This is the GM recommended stuff 
for this problem.
