Information on GM chip in the '748

Hi everybody,


I am looking for information on the 1604 5148 PWM/Timer chip used in the
1227748, which I'm sure is used
in other ECMs as well. I have figured out some stuff from my
disassembly, like how the pulse width registers
seem to work, but I have no idea about the registers/hardware used for
the speed calculation as well as the
spark and injector timing.

So if anyone has any info on this, I'd greatly appreciate it!
