Cable Driven VSS (camira)

I need a cable driven VSS, i know there in the late model camira's, but 
asking around at wreckers, none of them seem to have one!

Is it worth just buying a complete camira instrumentation, just to get the 
VSS? Does the Delco system use the same VSS as the L-jet system that the 
earlier camira's used?
