WB update: +/- 10V output

I would think that scaling it for 0-5 vdc would have plenty of resolution.
I am working on a similar project for work & will post the print when I am
done.  the gist of it is that you use an offset voltage to bring the
small -volt up to 0 & then a gain pot to scale the FS voltage to 5 vdc.  I
think that this was suggested by someone the other day.  this might or might
not require another op amp (I don't recall of the top of my head) but, if we
are going to get to a PC card some day that ought not be difficult.

I was suggesting it since +/- 10 V input range seems to be popular and is
what the DI194 takes.  I know it will take a - supply, so it may not be
practical (hey, it was just a suggestion :-)).  The DI194 seems to get +/-
12 V from the serial port so maybe you could just provide power input pads
and let the user piggyback off the DI194 if anyone actually uses it.  To be
perfectly frank, I'm a sideline commentator here since I may very well
never build one for myself.
