Nope, just trying to keep from going broke driving to work. I'm actually
going to raise the AFR some more until I can make it have lean misfires,

there may be with spark advance, I'll find it. I figure blowing my engine is

I found a graph in a book that shows performance variations compared to AFR.
At constant speed and constant spark timing (minimum best timing), BSFC
drops as AFR is increased up to a point (best economy) at about 17.6. After
that point BSFC begins to rise again and torque continues to drop.
