3.4L DOHC PROM #16181397 to fix stalling problem

Never heard of that pcm before.  I would expect a 16149396.  If you read that prom in, I'm sure many listers would be interested in looking at it (myself included).  

I don't know why your car is stalling, but I wouldn't finger the PCM unless you have hardcore modifications.  Maybe an EGR valve sticking open?

The GM part number is 16181397.  Has anyone heard of this?  As a newbie
bonus question, can anyone tell me how to find out what PROM I have, now.
The car is a 92 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP 3.4L DOHC with Getrag 284 5 spd, Vin
X.

It would be soooo nice if I could push in a clutch and not wonder if it was
going to die on me...
