two ECMs or WHAT

The eprom in the memcal is the one that contains the engine calibration data.  It
will have a sticker in the center covering a "window."  I'm not sure how the entire
memcal could be mounted on the pocket programmer, but the eprom is the main
concern.

The bcm data is generally separate.  I do not know if modifying engine calibration
data will result in a need to change bcm data.  It may depend on your intended use
and application.

If you are trying to use the cadillac ecm only in a non factory car, you may be
able to discard the bcm.  I have no experiences modifying engine calibrations for
that ecm.
