How does a DIS work ?

There's a lot of DIS info in the archives. There's also a very good
book available from MSX Intl, called "performance ignition tuning" or
something like that... It goes into pretty good detail about how the
HEI and DIS ignitions work, including a nice timing diagram. Shannen
scanned those diagrams to the incoming directory:
