LT5 DIS was Re: How does a DIS

Having just replaced as DIS on an LT 5 its $450 after market if you know
who has one to $850+ at a chev dealer.  The chances of finding one in a
junkyard are very slim.  You have to find an LT 5 motor then know where
to look.  Seeing as how they made only 7500 of these motors total and we
know where most of them are wrecked or not and strip them when we can
get them.  The LT 5 is considered a vin J car and is a Lotus designed
twin overhead cam motor.  Direct port injection with 16 injectors 2 per
cyl and twin fuel pumps.
