CB Performance, a VW parts place (http://cbperformance.com/) carries the
Westach gauges with their own logo on them for ~$120.00. Might save some
costs over having Westach make one specifically for you. I've got one, but
I'm not certain I'm happy with it. I have used it on my air-cooled VW's
(with bosch D-jetronic fuel injection), but the needle seems to take some
pretty wild swings. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, or it's just really
all over the place. Tried it on a carbureted VW, and fitted the 02 sensor
to my Suburban (with Quadra-junk) and got the same results. Not so
surprised about the carbs not giving consistent readings, though. I have it
mounted in a box with a tach, so I can hook it up to any of my vehicles and
(theoretically) do idle adjustments, carb or FI adjustments, so on. It's
fed by a pair of alligator clip wires, and I'm not certain if there's an
issue with grounding between the 02 sensor and the gauge when it's connected
that way.
