probably wouldn't. in the ford manual (svc) it explains how to reprogram the
keys( they are 4 sided roundish items). the car will not start without the
right key.they pull the fuel
rails and starter via the BCM ( starter) and ECM (fuel)  opel seem to do a
similar thing with theirs. they have the remote locking on the key and the
transponder. a little bit of creativity
can disable both.
