Hope this is some help for the problem of planes being hijacked.
The company I work for, B.F, Goodrich Aerostructures recently bought another 
company that builds a bulkhead that is standard equipment on all modern 
freight aircraft. It goes between the pilots and the cargo. It is carved out 
of a piece of aluminum about 10 inches thick. two such pieces are them bonded 
together back to back resulting in a very strong structure that you could run 
a CAR into with no failure. It also has a door fit for a battleship. These 
are available for most aircraft that see freight service. Lets start putting 
these into use asap
