RE: Idle and the idle VE tableOk...cool. I know there's been some issues with other
ECU files made, so I wanted to be sure he knew. Thanks, Ben ! --PS--don't worry about the decel BLM's a whole lot.

i made the file:) The A1 code is pretty much set. The code example is set for the cavalier 3.1 5 speed, which Jay has already confirmed. A few of the vlues sections are off in the wording, like enable and disable is mixed up on some things. The rest is good. Im not sure if someone else is making an in depth version though.

As for the swings in the INT, its not too bad. I have it set back to normal now which makes the car run nicer overall. The BLMs are close and the INT isn't that far off, except on decel which goes to 146. Thats really the furthest I have hit so far.

That's right...I'm just wondering if the code swings weird when you set the mins and max that way. There IS easier
ways to stay open loop. His big question is the Winbin "ecu" files--depending on who made the file, or how the file
was interpreted, he may not be editing where he thinks he is.

      Lyndon,
BLMs can be "locked" by setting Min and Max BLM to 128, I'm sure there are other ways.
I wouldn't do it regardless (I know you wouldn't), there are easier ways of running open loop.

How'd you lock the BLM's ? I'm just guessing ,but if they're locked, the INT is going to go sky high "trying" to move the BLM. One thing about the ECU files--sometimes what you think you're modifying isn't the right area. Try modifying the ENTIRE table a couple times to check this. Just modify the main VE table.
