The injector resistance specification for the GENIII V8s is 13 ohm +/- 1 
(saturated switch driver)

This is backwards.  TBI injectors are low impedance, high current
devices.  High enough current that if it's not limited they'll melt.
TBI injectors require peak/hold drivers.

Port injectors are generally high impedance, and limit their own
current.  They only need an on/off driver.
