Edelbrock sells an MPFI kit for the 5.7L v8's that use the TBI ECM to batch 
fire

 2 sets of 4 injectors. ECM #16168625 is used to control both the 6.3L 
diesel as

 well as the 5.7L in some applications. Don't know why the injector drivers 
would be

a problem with this ECM and not with other TBI ECM's.
