[Gmecm] stupid n00b question? Which s/w uses .ds file?

I have a 94 Olds Bravada, RPO L35 4.3L CPI. What s/w should I use to 
read the ALDL port? Found ALDLstuff, looks data stream A178.ds is the 
right one for that engine. Advice please?
